Glutamine-rich gut-healing summer juice

Don't be put off by the cabbage in this recipe. The combination of melon, cucumber and ginger makes this a delicious refreshing drink.


Cabbage juice is high in L-glutamine, the go-to nutrient for gut repair. This drink also provides good amounts of vitamin C, polyphenols, beta-carotene (a type of vitamin A) and fibre, all great for promoting great digestive health.

JUICE TOGETHER THE FOLLOWING INGREDIENTS:

½ cabbage

½ small cucumber (no need to peel)

¼ rock or honey dew melon

½ tsp ground ginger

small handful of ice
