This simple recipe contains gut healing bone broth and lots of spices that help to kill unwanted pathogens in the gut and protect you from viruses and bacterial infections. If you are on a SIBO or low Fodmaps diet, omit the garlic.
You can buy a good quality bone broths from my online store or from good health food shops.
Bone broths are highly nutritious. They are a good source of amino acids, particularly glycine, proline and glutamine, which are great for both gut healing and joints. The proline and gelatin in them is used by the body to make collagen. They are one of the few foods that provide us with nucleotides – DNA is made up of nucleotides – so these micronutrients are excellent for anti-aging, anti-stress and general healthy cell building. They also provide minerals, including calcium and magnesium.
